Much mackerel makes an appearance at last!

Pretty boats all in a row...

the old harbour cafe has been transformed and is now open as Favorita and serving serving delicious tapas style food with a local twist for you...

the big Spring tide reveals all...

like the hulls fo more modern deep-draughted vessels in berth...

the Winter of Ladram lengthwise dwarfs the bigger beam trawler...

the market earlier in the week saw a big shot of bass...

from the fly-shooter's trip of fish...

name that fish...

fashionable fish...

quality megrim sole...

the blue-fin boys have been in action...

filling the tub once more...

and some decent mackerel haver begun to appear on the auction list...

along with this fine skipjack tuna...

and cracking bream...

decent run of mackerel again...

a handful of reds...

that man Cod on the Butts brings in the catch...

sardines are back on the menu too,,,

another day and it looks like rain...

under a heavily overcast sky...

the view before the harbour opens up...

bringing in the Rowney...

to land and overhaul the gear...

bound away...

cracking lemons...

morte seardines...

and the blackest reef conger...

all whisked away in the blink of an eye as if by magic...

a box of blues...

and a brill or two...

those cuttlefish pots have been AWOL for some time...

Karen of Ladram taking ice before sailing...

Favorita, all set to open today...

easy access to the hull of your punt on the Canners slip...

a moody start to the day.
