After snow on the first day of Spring it's a fishless #FishyFriday in Newlyn!

With the snow all but gone strong winds are the feature of the day as they blast the fish market...

which, despite a landing of fish never happened as there was no transport available to get the fish out of Cornwall, so back in the market fridge the fish went..

some big ling...

were quickly dragged away

along with plenty of hake...

all set for Monday's market...

auctioneer Ian lending a hand in the biting sou'easterly breeze...

only a handful of fish went up for auction for a few local outlets...

as Ryan...

and young Roger cleared the decks...

and put the fish back in the fridge.
