The swimmers muster on Newlyn Green...
get some race instructions...
under Tom's watchful gaze...
before the swimmers take to the water...
and head for the start line...
get under starter's orders...
and they're off!...
turbulent waters hit the Bay...
as a record number of swimmers head for the bathing pool...
some rather slower than others, it is after all a charity race...
under the watchful gaze of the RNLI inshore boat...
first across the line, ahead of many who walked the distance!...
the finish soon became inundated...
then the stragglers hit the slipway...
including one lucky mum who was welcomed with a bottle of bubbles!...
the evening light was yet again amazing picking ot the home of the race, the Yacht Inn.
