WORLD ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Helen Glover and Polly Swann won gold for Great Britain in the women's pair at the Rowing World Championships in Chungju, South Korea.
Olympic champion Glover and Swann, who won three World Cup regattas this year, finish the season unbeaten as a team.
Glover won Team GB's first gold of London 2012 with Heather Stanning.
Peter and Richard Chambers won bronze in the lightweight men's double sculls, while there was also a bronze for Britain in the men's quadruple sculls.
It was the first time a British team - in this case Graeme Thomas, Sam Townsend, Charles Cousins and Peter Lambert - had won a medal in the men's quad.
Alan Campbell will compete in the final of the single sculls later on Sunday.
Glover and Swann won in seven minutes 22.82 seconds, shading Romania and New Zealand.
"Even though last year was a home Olympic Games I had less pressure on me going into it," said Glover, 27.
"We were relatively unknown but this year there was more weight on my shoulders and I'm proud of the way we coped with it."
In the men's double, Norway and Switzerland finished ahead of Northern Ireland's Chambers brothers, who were part of the lightweight men's four who won silver at London 2012.
Peter Chambers said: "We couldn't do anything else. It's the worst I've felt after a race ever. We left everything out there."
There was a dramatic finish to the men's quad, with the British team kicking on in the last 1500m to finish behind only Croatia and Germany.
