Looks like Mr Pascoe is off hunting bluefin this morning...
still good landings of octopus from east of Newlyn...
and the odd mackerel!..
the sardine season is now in full flow...
the apprentice beats the master - young Will with the Rachel & Paul would have put a smile on Chris Morley's face for sure with a haul of bass bigger than the main man on the Butts!..
they look good, golden red mullet...
more tagged line caught bass...
while the bigger boats trawled up good hauls of megs
and lemons...
along with a good mix of quality from the rest of the inshore fleet...
with John Dory...
and monk topping off the morning's market...
its the sart f the next neap tide for the netters, Britannia V heads for the ice works...
every berth taken up by passing yachts again...
an's new fish pumpis popular with bis crew
as you can tell by the smile on Aaron's face as he haus away their night's work on the sardines...
and they are not the only boat to invest in a fish pump...
fresh Cornish sardines ready to be hauled away...
old anchors hauled p from the seabed always get you wondering, which boat, when?, how, what heppened?!
