Monday morning in Newlyn and the octopus keep on coming!

One man and his telehoist is all it takes...

to put up a building these days!..

looks like a promising start to the week weather-wise...

with plenty f fish on the market landed over the weekend...

hake from the Stelissa...

and the Ajax...

some squid too...

there's new plastics on all the market doors now...

doing a good job keeping top quailrty fish like these bass

and turbot in top condition...

there are no signs of the octopus landings diminishing though...

with 10,000 kg on the market...

sardines are now back on the menu too...

as crew put their fish away in the market...

from the netter Ocean Pride...

almost tropical looking...

as the last of the trip comes into the market...

the Ocean Pride pulls away from the market...

the night's sardines get loaded aboard the Falfishlorry...

work on the piles continues...

and even the bigger yachts took shelter from the fresh winds over the weekend...

just the merest glimpse of the Bay in the morning sun...

fish boxes, they come from everywhere...

in goes another pile.
