This film courtesy of the Huntley Film Archive captures a corner of Cornwall and focusses on the fishing industry. The opening sequence is of Penberth showing the windlass used to pull the punts out of the water and up the slip. Much of the rest of the film is of the village of Mousehole and the fishermen and their families. Both crab and lobster fishing is shown along with footage shot aboard some of the drift net fleet at sea and when they are back in the harbour shaking out the catch before heading off to Newlyn in the closing shots to pick up the settlings.
