Last market before Christmas.

Making her first, and last trip, since catching fire at sea, The Trevesssa IV was the last landing on the market.......
along with the Filadelfia with a few dogfish set to go for bait for the crabbing fleet......
skipper Don is all set for the break, with plans to be one of the first boats to land in the New Year......
in the meantime its time to stow the gear......
and get washed down ready to go.........
temperatures are still hovering around freezing even in the far flung corner of West Penwith.......
fish supplies are still arriving from all parts of the country for local distribution......
more icy signs of the low temperature........
with Royden busy clearing away gear from the lorry park.......
at the moment the temperature is probably greater inside the chilled transport!.......
this year's lifeboat shout league goes to the Ivan Ellen........
though it looks like the weather will continue with a calm patch until Boxing Day according to the forecast......
a reminder of the complex issues surrounding conservation and control of the fishing effort shines on......
an alternative to turkey sandwiches to try from the new fish cook book you get for Christmas......
anyone wanting to get in to the industry needs all of these.....
a chance to buy a harbourside property has come up.
