Moby Dick at the Minack.

An evening at the Minack, one of the world's most unique theatres is always a treat - top tips for an evening performance - get there early for a good view and bring your own picnic, take cushions to site on, a fleece blanket is best for when the sun goes down.......

the Mitre Players production of Moby Dick - a musical within a play as the girls of St Godley's school try to raise money using the props they have available to save the school with this extremely toungue-in-cheek version of the classic white whale chase.......
with his motley crew, the tortured Captain Ahab aboard the Pequod......
from the wheel deck scours the ocean for the fish of his nightmares......
and at some stage gives the production for a song and dance routines with spectacular water effect......
before the white whale and Ahab's deceased wife both appear before him......
and the battle of the minds commences......
before all hands are back on stage for the happy ending as the whale, the Pequod and the happy couple sail off into the distance..
