Windy, but quiet enough in Newlyn this morning as storm Eunice grazes the south coast of Cornwall.

This morning a slow swell is a giveaway as to just what is passing through as...

Tom keeps one eye on that Eunice...

with Newlyn in the lee of the land the black backed gulls sit it out on the relatively calm waters of the harbour...

along with the rest of the fleet which is keeping even the biggest boats in port...

Lionel and Johnny scour the harbour for any flotsam blown from the quays that might end up in a prop or seawater inlet...

the visiting Belgian beamer lays outside the next two largest boats in the fleet...

passing clouds...

allow the morning sun to just about break through as they streak across the bay...

it's not looking very clever at Sennen.
