Refurbishments and change wherever you look in and around Newlyn.


Taking a stroll along Cornwall's only and recently transformed promenade reveals the original compass rose has been re-installed...


alongside an accurate Lat and Long reading taken from Greenwich...


the now shut and re-purposed as a dance school RNMDSF mission building reflected in this original pencil work by ex-fisherman Robert Jones from 1985 was open and catering for local and visiting fishermen, these days, despite there being upwards of 80 foreign crew based in the port most have nowhere to relax away from their boats which are home for the duration of their contracts...
