Sunny Sunday in Newlyn.

There was a good breeze out to sea creating a sizeable swell in Mounts Bay, enough to lift the bow of the gig Breeze as she made her way in through the gaps after a tough training row...

closely followed by an early season yacht that must have had quite a ride coming around Lands End earlier in the day...

by Sunday lunchtime the now partially completed new market was already full of fish - a combination of tide and weather meaning that more than the average quantity of fish was put ashore over the weekend...

and stacked in the boxes straight off the boats like this big trip of hake and other whitefish from the netter Aajx...

and cuttlefish from the beamer, Twilight.
