Commercial handline fishing for mackerel - Working my boat Stargazy Pie PZ849 off the Cornish Coast.
Filmed during one cold February late afternoon out from Falmouth. Despite cloudy water from a strong blow and ground sea a few days prior, you can clearly see mackerel striking in a feed frenzy - time and time again! You can even hear them hitting the line if the volume is up.
I move from shoal to shoal taking two or three strings from each - leaving plenty for other 'predators'.
