Monday morning's market in Newlyn.

Fine weather and neap tides see most of the fleet at sea with just a few full trips from two beam trawlers and a big netter to fill the market this morning...

all tied up...

going in the book, all hands busy taking notes on the auction...

probably the biggest plaice landed this month...

the olfactory end of the ray...

buys big cod...

best of the big flats this morning...

this steely-eyed hake ended up aboard the Govenek of Ladram...

a box of paws...

between trips for some of the fleet...

just some of the tons of old gill nets passing through the recycling centre in Newlyn...

Replenish, biggest of the visiting Scottish prawn trawlers...

ahead of the Sapphire II taking fuel.
