Windy weekend again!

New signs appeared to say that the route to Newlyn is now open...

though it looks like there were some very strong offshore winds overnight as some of the barrier fencing appears to have been blown down along the seafront between Penzance and Newlyn...

and Tom now has a clear field or is it Bay of view at last...

looks like a touch of irony as the old bridge in Newlyn suffers from a  touch of subsidence...

busy, busy, busy Monday market...

plenty for Rob from Cefas to data log...

with good hauls of Dovers and monk from the boats that landed this morning...

a mix of inshore and deeper water boats...

though Nigel appears to be somewhat frustrated with his lot...

mixed fishing from the netter Ajax...

with a good run of ling and hake...

keep the staff busy...

heavy gear being shipped back to the Scillies for major tarmac work...

bound away at first light...

while the Twilight makes an early morning entrance after steaming through the night for home...

with CrabDa' happy to let them know he's home...

you can tell how Nigel is feeling the morning...

as the Innisfallen heads back out to sea...

Cornish Ice Company, the old and the new...

someones been keeping the beaches neat and tidy for the trippers.
