The 'NAG's or, NEWLYN Archive Group is hosting an open day of memorabilia, photographs, films and activities about Newlyn on Saturday at the Centre , Chywoone Hill.
There will be photographic displays and activities on topics such as Newlyn Schools between 1920 and 1950, Newlyn at War, Fishwives of Newlyn, Models of the Newlyn School, and Newlyn Family Photographs.
There is also a film about Newlyn people today, videos, slide shows and some original paintings of Newlyn people that will be showing during the day.
Newlyn is one seaside town, along with Bridlington, Morecombe and Shanklin to take part in a national project called Seaside Voices. Through the Gaps has contacted the Seaside Voices site for more information on how people can get in touch.
