It's all go with the yachts this evening - all 14 of them - here an English crew share a glass of vin avec les Francais!
as another yella welly arrives....
and our man gets round to collect some dues!if you can make it - this Saturday sees the annual Buccas Fair - why 'bucca'? - you find out! 'Least we weren't called 'ring doves'!
Andrew Pascoe makes his way to the fish market with the day's net fish......
and dead on 7.30pm, here she comes some good news for the port.....
and a major cause for celebration today! - the biggest addition to the local fleet to arrive for years!Father Kevin, and son Mark Curtis moor up the Crystal Waters, an ex-French stern trawler lately from Kilkeel....
with a seriously spacious stern and working deck...
luxurious wheelhouse complete with bunk......and, offset to port, a massive galley and mess....where a fresh brew is made by better-half down to see the new boat....why the smiles?..... after leaving Kilkeel 36 hours ago, the guys discovered the gas bottles were both empty - no brew for over 24 hours - desperate!
