the streets of Penzance will be full of the bizarre sights and sounds when Mazey Day arrives next Saturday during the annual Golowan Week festival.

Fine forecast for the weekend and the coming days.

Fine forecast - time to let go the ends.

If the number of yachts that fill all the available berths at this time of year are anything to go by, Mounts Bay and Newlyn are ideally placed to develop provision for visiting pleasure craft it seems.

Friday pm.

Mobile withy pot demonstration kit ready to head off to the St Ives Food and Drink Festival......
Shaun doesn't care - he's going by bike anyway.

Big is beautiful.

Might is right - invoking the first rule of the road aboard the yacht......
as the Ora et Labora, one of the biggest beam trawlers - but currently twin-rigging - Belgian owned, Dutch flagged makes her way in to land.....
not many days to go before the off for the tuna boys.

Tridens update.

The giant research vessel, Tridens continues to make her way up the Channel.
