Pubs that do grub
It's a #FishyFriday at the Fountain Inn Penzance - great to see the local pubs serving up local fish!
Will Bertha spoil the show?
Yet another stunning show of glorious gold hues greets the day...
In the Bay as the sun comes up...
So which is the reflection?...
Up for sale, a classic MTB waiting for a new owner...
Looks like the William has been well and truly blasted...
Will hurricane Bertha spoil this year raft race? Keep a weather eye on the Facebook page...
Looks like the punts have found a few mackerel of Penlee Point...
As the Sparkling Line heads for the gaps...
Plenty if work still to do onthe Britannua...
Good to see the AA back in action...
Macks galore!...
Cod from the AA.

There's a few pots on the quay to be rigged
The visiting yachts seem to be bigger on average this year...
crabber Chris Tacha up on the slip for a quick bottom job...
while on the quay the day work rigging pots for the Rowse fleet...
looks like the boys will be busy for days...
she's looking more fiddy by the day...
Lean mean modern steel fishing machines...
look what floated ashore...
boxed, chilled and ready to go, Cornish sardines a-plenty!
Inshore fishing tweet of the day
Here's a short exchange between two inshore fishermen who understand their quarry:
From @kevin_penney l "A cracking day round the pots, some fine lobsters #drecklyquality pic.twitter.com/mtVxOLtBGi"
"@kevin_penney they know there's a storm on the way so foraging / looking for a hiding place" from Nathan de Rozarieux @NathandeRoz
