Mopped up!


The  James RH ws tasked with going to pick up and tow in the WSS which had managed to get the starboard side cod end mopped up in her propellor while fishing north of the Scillies...


soon to be ex-harbour master, Andrew Munson heads back back to her marina berth past the Breton trawler Le Sillon...

Little Graham takes a call from on high checking the boat is indeed round the right way...


looks like there is a little work to do to release the starboard side gear which has been caught up in the propeller...

to help push the mopped up WSS against the quay...


time for a dip...


the tow boat now makes her way in...

and into a berth after towing in the WSS...

Frida's fishy feast!


Top quality hake from the...

were among the best of the beam trawler fish up for auction...

 Dover sole from the Trevessa IV.....


all getting the data collection treatment from Cefas...


there was a sense of urgency in the air...


as the scales were kept busy...


a sample nmber of the otoliths of haddock collected...


and the overall lengt duly recorded...


as is often the case at this time of year, the sun up looks surreal.
