Fleetwood registered trawler Sanamedio in Newlyn again.

Fleetwood registered stern trawler, FD525 Sanamedio made one of her mandatory UK visits overnight...

her trawl deck, crowded with spare trawls and net so that she can continue fishing no matter what damage to her gear she suffers, is effectively on top of her shelterdeck...

which must make handling the trawl doors, trawl and operating the main winch very arduous in heavy weather - which she must see plenty of given that she works the deep water south west of Ireland throughout the winter months...

it takes more than a six-wheeler road tanker...

 to fill her fuel tanks...

a busy morning in Newlyn as two Scottish prawn boats land their latest catches...

there's plenty of deck space aboard the beamer, Sapphire II with no trawl on her deck...

after landing her latest trip, Annie-May, the latest netter to join the Newlyn fleet takes ice...

the very resplendent teak decks of the yacht...

Kikila which was towed in by the Penlee lifeboat last night after suffering a major engine failure...

seven miles south of Newlyn while nearing the end of her voyage from Croatia to Falmouth with a crew of veterans funded by the Turn to Starboard charity...

up on the slip and up and down in the short window available...
