Newlyn's new boat.

While poor visibility might keep many sailboats in the harbour...

it is business as usual for the fishing fleet as the Silver Dawn heads for the gaps at the start of another netting trip...

on the other side of the quay, the port's newest - and by far biggest - Cornish sardine ring netter arrived this morning...

sporting some unusual features above the waterline...

she represents a new kind of vessel, not much longer than the Cygnus GM44, Ygraine which used to be considered a 'big boat' for her length, the new boat is huge by comparison...

as she floats well above her waterline as she has yet to be fitted out...

young Jeremy's boat is getting there...

it's all smiles from Andy and Tim this morning...

as blue is the in colour it seems...

from FalFish...

another job safely completed...

can you help Chris get a berth?
