Working together betters both sides understanding - fishermens' knowledge is the key.

Join the Shark By-Watch UK 2 team for a unique dissection event, held June 2015 in the Natural History Museum, London. The team are exploring the awe-inspiring biology of the porbeagle - a shark species found around UK waters. These impressive predators can become entangled in fishing gear and drown - a 'bycatch' issue that the SBW UK 2 team are keen to resolve with innovative measures to prevent this accidental capture. Watch for more information about the project and its wide range of collaborative partners.
