Two-handed Inspiration greeted by a good run of fish

Heading out to see from a mooring.....
after steaming for 4 1/2 hours round from his home port the previous evening in search of mackerel in Mount's Bay, top St Ives handliner Stuart McClary makes his way in to land, in the background are two Urk crewed, Belgian registered beamers in for their Sunday off, one of which will be landing to Newlyn Monday week, part of an experiment to see what their fish will make here as an alternative to overlanding their catch back to Holland....
followed by the now two-handed Inspiration with owner Nick Howell making his maiden voyage along with skipper Dick.....
Anthony lends a hand passing boxes of line caught mackerel across to the punt with the quay-berth.....
then its all hands to sorting the morning's catch.....
and a better sample of fish were found in the Bay this morning......
Anthony and Sturat get to sort their catch before heading back to God's country.....
there's still a nip in the air despite the sunshine......
Dick takes the immaculate punt back to her berth on the pontoon.....
yet more derrick get the straightening treatment.......
the tide provides a resting spot for the local cormorants, or are they shags?....
at lunch time, fresh Inspiration mackerel, headed, tailed and gutted, rubbed with lemon zest, lemon juice and olive oil straight in a hot heavy frying pan - summer is on the way!
