Three more for the scrapyard!

The Daisy begins the long tow as she pulls the Basil away from the quayside.
For her final voyage the WS&S beamer, Daisy Christianne leaves her berth for the Stone Quay to pick up the Basil St Clair. She will then tow the Basil to Hull. The Sarah Cathryn Stevenson left earlier under her own steam for the same destination. All three beamers are bound for the breakers yard in Hull on the East Coast. The Daisy was the largest vessel in Stevenson's fleet. You can see pictures of all three vessels in their heyday here.
